Types of Anger and how to be healed of Anger

Anger is a God-given emotion which indicates unresolved tension within a person’s spirit. It is our responsibility to identify anger and have a self will to want to be free of anger. There are several types of anger.
Suppressed anger-Anger that is not dealt with at that particular time. There are many reasons that people suppress anger. Fear, learned behavior, or being a pleaser of man, are only a few of the reasons why people suppress their anger.
Compulsive Anger- Springs from an undercurrent of unresolved issues below the surface, and ready to erupt on the slightest cue.
Open Aggression- I’m forceful and blunt when something frustrates me. I don’t care whom I hurt in the process.
Passive Aggression- In order to protect my needs or sense of worth, I’ll quietly manipulate circumstances or people to promote myself.
How to be healed of Anger
1- Admit that you are angry- Do not repress or deny feeling angry
2-Try to understand why you are angry
3-Assess your expression of anger- Ask God if your delivery of anger is appropriate
4-Forgiveness is key- Forgive yourself and also those who have committed an act against you
5-Choose to walk in forgiveness, because you have been forgiven
6-Make sure you set boundaries and keep them
